Hi, I'm Tony Lowndes. Although originally from Palmerston North, I came up to Auckland around 1991, and now live in South Auckland. I am married with 4 children. I have an automotive background as a mechanic and have worked within the auto parts industry for many years. I have always had an interest in teaching people to drive, and for many years have been doing so (in my spare time after work and Saturdays) in more of a supervisory/coaching role. In October 2011, I finally went for my "I" endorsement training with AA, and now, as a NZTA Qualified Driving Instructor, I instruct full time in the South Auckland areas, including: Manukau, Manurewa, Takanini, Ardmore, Alfriston, Karaka, Papakura, Drury, Ramarama, Clevedon, Bombay, Pokeno and Pukekohe.
My interests include: Motoracing - V8's and Formula 1; The '80's music.
